West of city center, on your way to or from the airport, nestled between the Canal Lachine, the Falaise St Jacques, and a well-tangled knot of highways and train tracks, lies the Cour Turcot, a 46-acre former quarry that the City of Montreal is ready to transform into a major public asset as part of its broader goals to improve quality of life.

The City of Montreal's Parks Department wishes the new park, which will be one of its largest, to be different from its current offerings, and a true XXIst century premium park, with rich programs. TOWN SQUARE is tasked with creating the vision for the future park, as well as the governance mechanism for the organization that will maintain it.
