Newark is experiencing a renaissance. Across the street from the revitalized Military Park and Prudential Insurance’s new 20-story office tower, L&M Development is turning Hahne’s former flagship department store into a vibrant hub of activity. Retailers will occupy the ground floor; upper floors will be apartments and offices; Rutgers University will have a foothold.
