"Field Station: Dinosaurs" is a fee-for-entrance exhibit in Overpeck County Park. The exhibit cleverly makes use of an underutilized portion of the park to entertain children and their parents.

The upper level of the clubhouse at Overpeck Golf Course sits unused.

The waterworks at Van Buskirk Island is a series of historic buildings formerly used for municipal water filtration. Currently fenced off from the public, with an influx of private funding, it could be converted into an event or food hall.

The carousel at Van Saun County Park is a favorite with families.

An amphitheater at the Bergen County Zoo regularly hosts school groups. It shows promise for special events.
